Why choose Miami / Enterprise Beach?
This is one of the easier south-coast beaches to recommend to families or groups staying around Oistins. It combines a local beach atmosphere with useful facilities and a shoreline that has two noticeably different sides.
Official tourism information describes a more sheltered cove on the north side of the break and larger waves on the south side. That difference is important: do not assume every part of the beach has the same water conditions.

- people who want a popular public beach rather than a resort-only setting;
- visitors who appreciate having both calmer and livelier sections to assess.
Swimming and safety
The sheltered side can be appealing for less-confident swimmers when conditions cooperate, but flags, swell and currents still matter. Check the water in front of you and follow any local lifeguard guidance rather than relying on a general description written before your trip.
Facilities and food
The beach is close enough to Oistins that it can fit naturally into a day that includes the town, food stops or the evening fish-fry area. It is therefore more practical for many visitors than driving to an isolated beach where every meal and supply needs to be planned in advance.
How long should you plan?
A half-day is enough for a first visit, especially if you want to combine it with Oistins. Travelers staying nearby may prefer to use it as a repeat beach rather than trying to spend one very long day there.
Main drawback
