What is actually worth booking ahead?
Book ahead when capacity is limited or when the activity would be a major disappointment to miss: a popular restaurant, a specific catamaran day, a private tour, a surf lesson or a special event. Keep ordinary beach days flexible. Weather and energy levels are easier to manage when every hour is not prepaid.
One useful rule: group activities by area
Do not cross the island repeatedly because an itinerary looked good in a list. Combine nearby stops. Bridgetown works naturally with Carlisle Bay. Oistins can fit a south-coast afternoon or evening. Bathsheba makes more sense as part of an east-coast exploration day.
If you only have three full days
Pick one excellent beach day, one island/culture day and one flexible day based on what you enjoyed most. That simple structure usually produces a better short trip than squeezing ten attractions into three days.
