Rental car
A car is most useful for independent beach-hopping, the east coast and inland attractions. Barbados drives on the left. Confirm the temporary driving authorization process, insurance, fuel policy and parking at your accommodation.
Public transportation
Government buses, privately operated minibuses and ZR vans form the public network. They can be economical and frequent on major coastal routes, but luggage, late-night schedules and less-central accommodation can reduce convenience.
